B.Comm., Ryerson University, 2015
J.D., University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, 2020
J.D., Michigan State University College of Law, 2020 (cum laude)

Sam is an associate with Saretsky Hart Michaels + Gould PC.  He has significant experience defending sales practice claims and in assisting registered representatives and investment advisers in obtaining the expungement of customer complaints from their professional records.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Sam graduated the Canadian-American Dual JD Program offered by the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and Michigan State University College of Law. During law school, Sam was a student attorney in Michigan State’s Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he counselled entrepreneurs on entity structuring, contract negotiations, and creative work and brand protection.

Prior to practicing law, Sam worked at a sports application-based tech start-up in Tel Aviv, Israel where he worked in the monetization department. Sam’s entrepreneurial background is an excellent complement to SHMG’s business litigation practice.

In his spare time, Sam enjoys travelling, live music, and playing and watching sports – although he is consistently disappointed by his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs. Living in Detroit’s Hockeytown hasn’t made Sam’s life any easier – yet.
