W. Gray Hyland

Gray is an associate with Saretsky Hart Michaels + Gould PC.

B.A., Appalachian State University, Political Science, 2018
J.D., Michigan State University College of Law, 2021

Gray has experience providing legal representation and counsel to financial services professionals and insurance carriers in a wide range of disputes, including investigations by state and federal regulators, promissory note collection matters, and the expungement of false and misleading claims from broker’s CRD records. Gray’s understanding and experience navigating the complexities that often present themselves to SHMG’s clients make him a tremendous asset in the heavily-regulated financial services industry.

Originally hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Gray made his way north and graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. During law school Gray was named captain of MSU’s distinguished Commercial Arbitration Team, which he continues to assist as a volunteer coach. Prior to law school, Gray graduated from Appalachian State University in the mountains of North Carolina, which is best known in Michigan for what Gray describes as “The Greatest College Football Upset in History” (our UM grads respectfully disagree).

When not at the office, Gray enjoys travelling, watching and playing sports, and spending time outdoors in beautiful Michigan (he is still adjusting to the winters).
